When will the project start? And how long will it last?
Demo will start on the 19th Hole and Snack Bar after Labor Day. The goal is to get this protected from the weather before the Nebraska winter rolls in. This will help to be sure the project is wrapped up and ready for a busy 2024 pool season.
In the clubhouse, the renovation is slated to start in early November. Work will be in process through the fall on the exterior of the clubhouse, the inside will remain fully operational through November 5, 2023. The goal is to have the project wrapped up around July 4, 2024. As we continue to refine the timeline additional updates will head your way.
​Is the project still on budget? Will we see any additional fees or assessments?
The budget of the project is being watched closely by the Board of Directors, pertinent Committees and professionals working on the project. While there are still some details to finalize please know staying on budget and prudent with the financing is a top priority.
Will the club be open during the renovation? If so, what will that look like?
Yes! The club will stay open and ready to serve the members during the entire project. While the Mixed Grille is under renovation, member dining will be moved to the Ballroom and/ or the Swing Room during the week and we will be open on Sunday evenings for Member Dining as well.
On Saturday’s the club will offer to go dining all day, but the dining rooms will be closed. The Ballroom will be available on this evening for private parties and events, including several weddings that were already booked when the project timeline was finalized.
I would like to schedule a private party, is that possible?
Absolutely! The Ballroom, Swing Room and Veranda will be available for private events during the renovation. Reach out to Caitlin to book your event. With the adjusted calendar dates and times are filling quickly, to ensure your preferred date is available please reach out soon.
With work happening in the locker rooms do I need to clean out my locker?
Locker rooms will go under construction starting in November. In order to keep everyone safe, access to the locker rooms will be restricted until late Spring 2024. If you have a locker, we will be in contact with you with more details over the next few months.
Will my locker need to be moved?
Club staff will reach out to you if your locker is impacted by the renovation. With changes happening in both the men’s and ladies’ locker rooms there will be several that will relocate. We appreciate your understanding if your locker is one of the ones impacted.
Will the simulators be available for everyone to use? Or just Golf Members?
While the final details are still coming together, the simulators will be available for all members to use. Stay tuned for more operational information as we near the end of construction.
What does this look like at the 19th Hole while this is taking place?
The 19th Hole will close at the conclusion of Labor Day Monday and will reopen in Spring 2024.
How will daily golf check-in and golf tournaments be staged with the back of the Clubhouse unavailable?
While the west side of the clubhouse is under construction, carts will be staged near the main clubhouse entry on the east side of the clubhouse. Tournaments will be staged in a similar spot; likely in the upper parking lot, although this has yet to be finalized and is subject to change. The Golf Shop will remain open through November 5, 2023. After this time, a modified mobile Golf Shop will be staged in on the Main Level in the Main Foyer as you first enter the clubhouse.
Hayrack Ride, Ladies’ Luncheon, Santa Brunch, Easter Brunch, Mother’s Day Brunch- All of the FUN! What will those look like when we like to use the whole upstairs space?!
Do not worry! We have had extensive conversations of what this will look like and have either added dates, shifted dates or changed the layouts to ensure we are able to provide the experiences that we all look forward to! More information will be released as dates finalize, but we are doing everything we can to host all of our traditional events while accommodating as many members as possible for each.
